Is it true that drinking lots of water cleanses your skin?

a friend of mine recently asked me the question if drinking lots of water cleanses your skin. according to her she's been drining lots of water and sees no change. Is it true that drinking lots of water cleanses your skin?
Yes. Drinking lots of water is healthy for your body. It does not only quench your thirst, it also helps in the metabolism of your body and it also helps in taking all the unnecessary toxins away from you. You must drink lots and lots of glasses of water a day- and when you say lots- its more than 8 glasses. The amount of water a day must be balanced to your height, weight and age. Just because people tell you you must drink 8 glasses a day means it is literal or whatever. It means- you must AT LEAST drink 8 glasses a day and it is the minimum amount...

If your friend sees no change, it may be caused by other factors like stress, late night sleep or her diet...Is it true that drinking lots of water cleanses your skin?
yes it is true. How much water is she actually drinking? Some people think they are drinking a lot of water but they aren't. You are supposed to drink 8-10 8oz. glasses of water a day. Always. If she isn't drinking that much then it isn't enough. She needs to drink atleast that much, regularly and practice good hygiene. Give it time. Nothing like that will happen over night. Believe me, she will notice a difference. Good luck!
Yes. But, you also need to take a bath.
yes
Water plays a very important role in the cleansing of our body, exactly cleaning off and regulating irregularities like one of them in bowel movement. But as a skin cleanser maybe this doesn't mean directly like whitening the skin, or polishing the skin , It simply means cleaning off the skin, free from skin problems like pimples, acne, blackheads, whiteheads and scars...water clears the skin by showing it raidant, alive, soft, silky maybe but this will only manifest if you really lots of water, instead of liquor, juices with chemicals, or even coffe and tea..they don't really help in the glow of the skin, so water is the best...
It's true, drinking a lot of water will not only cleanse your body but your skin as well. Your body needs water. All the cells in your body need water. There is nothing wrong with drinking a lot of it (unless you die from drinking too much). If your friend hasn't noticed a change in her skin, tell her to wash her face twice a day in addition to drinking water. That should work. If not, try Proactive. It works for Jessica Simpson so it must be good.
