Oil at $68/Barrel means lower pump prices, lower food prices, etc. Is this how the economy cleanses itself?

People who have extra money are losing some of it. But this is helping lower income people! Donald Trump calls it economic cleansing. Even a $ trillion hasn't helped those who lost money. Does this mean the economy will correct itself? Shouldn't Congress be concentrating on creating jobs?Oil at $68/Barrel means lower pump prices, lower food prices, etc. Is this how the economy cleanses itself?
When the stock market collapsed, the imaginary money that fuels our economy vaporized. Stocks bought at $40.00 and later sold at $4.00 means that our capitalist economy lacks capital to run, we're out of ';gas';.

As this situation did not help the poor in 1932, it will not be helping the poor today.

The outlook for jobs next year is very bleak, and it would be an unusually bad time to penalize the rich for making a profit. If the rich don't have an incentive to produce they will just wait it out. I have never been hired to work for a poor person.

The economy will correct itself, if the government will just leave it alone.

In a truly free market, the DOW would never have gotten as high as it did. It would have experienced rise and falls throughout the last decade, rather than continuing up and up. The bubble continued to expand, and now it is bursting. It will have to deflate before we can start anew.

Inflation hasn't helped any either, but the government won't fix that.

Congress should focus on protecting individual rights above all else. That is the only purpose of government.
The economy will correct itself like it has in the past, the government should remove themselves from places they dont belong and the economy is one of them, they have the national debt to deal with, the only way they should get involved is in a similar way to WWII pass a bill to sell goods to other countries to help build our economy other than that just borrowing money or taking tax payers money is a waste.
congress should look to ways to cut spending and lower taxes, that will help economy, only thing congress could do to really help create jobs is to have army corps of engineers drill oil, process it by building refineries on old military bases and then sell it on open market, lowering our foreign dependence and lowering our debt by using the money to pay it off
I believe this is the raping of the wealth . An this is a correction before the hiper inflation that's to come . Congress is to busy stuffing their pockets to be concerned with the peoples needs .
You want Congress to create jobs ?

Have you turned Socialist??

Your answers are normally conservative.

You'll be voting for Obama then Granny !

There's more and more people who are realising that OBAMA is the right choice.
